A revisit to my bio filter and explanation of how i built it and how its working. anyone can really build a biofilter. And they work really well. The biofilter I built with really cheap and if you're a fish enthusiast you probably have all the pieces around your house already to build it. I have grown my tilapia since they were Fry. I got my tilapia from two different sources and they were very healthy fish. I grew my tilapia in outdoor pond, a ibc tote, a makeshift indoor pond and a 125 gallon tank. Each place I raised my tilapia I built my own homemade biofilter.
