this is a natural bio filter I've been running for my 330 gallon tote. There are about 20 large tilapia in there and I'd venture to say about 30 midsize ones. The filter started out with just a couple of sprigs that I plucked over stream locally. I have a 15 W air pump pumping water through half inch PVC pipe. If you can see I did put a Coke bottle at the end of the pipe with tiny air holes sort of like a silencer. It did take a while for the plants to grow to what they are but this is awesome filter and I would definitely do this again next year.
