okay this is a long one here. So for 22 years we lived in this house and dealt with separate hot and cold waters from the antique think. But will we originally bought the house my wife loved the huge bathroom with the clawfoot tub and the antique sink. Recently we've been having more and more problems with the valve on the antique sink. And as were getting older we decided we would like to have warm water out of one spout instead of separate hot and cold waters LOL. So this was my project for my day off. My one goal was just remove the caulk from the sink to see if it was wall-mounted or bolted to the stud or just hanging. Instead I wonder removing the whole sink from the wall. But it was another step towards our goal of replacing it. If you have the same project to tackle this is one video that may give you some tips on how to remove this antique sink from your house also.
